Fall Edit: All About Those Essential Accessories

The Best Accessories to Utilize for the Colder Months that Will Make Your Fits Pop.

Accessories in any season can really make your fits pop but the fall and winter season really brings out some of the more heavier and cozier vibes. Rather it is gloves, hats, scarves, belts, to handbags, the fall and winter season is where your accessories can really carry the look.

Here are some of my personal favorite and most talked styles to keep you warm and chic!

Textured Gloves

From Faux Leather, tweed, chevron, to suede or calf skin, this season is all about giving your gloves an elevated look. In my opinion when it comes to this accessory category, gloves are a great way to level up your accessories as it is another way of extending and pulling your outfit together..

Even something as simple as a croc embossed or two toned leather glove can keep you both warm and stylish this season. If your not much of a pattern wearer, looking into something as simple as gloves that are a blend of cotton & cashmere in a unique color can add an extra layer of cozy too!

Retro, Fur, and Unique Hats

I don’t know about you but I love me a fur moment! Rather it’s the 90s baby in me or the lover of the 70s faux fur hats are making a statement this season and in more than one aesthetic. From cutesy to 70s pimp hats the options are beyond.

Also on the fashion docket of options, are the unique hats like the Lover Boy that was popular from Megan Thee Stallion or just intriguing cute anime style hats. These can be woven, in knit form, faux fur, and even teddy.

I have also been enjoying seeing retro style hats pop up from the pill box hat to Kangol’s! Think in the range of the 1940s to 1990s styles are going to be in hot demand this year for sure! I personally have my eye on the Fargo hat and another faux fur to keep my warm during the frigid Kansas weather.

Patterned, Thick Knit, & Sweater Scarves

A sweater scarf in my mind is just another essential you should always have in your fall and winter wardrobe. And keeping a rotation of 2 or 3 will always keep you styling fresh during the winter. Even if it’s the same style a different color, texture, or pattern is a small difference that can change a look completely!

Rather it is a thick knit, light cashmere blend, or woven, you can’t go wrong with any of these options. I also feel like if you’re really wanting to experiment this season why not look into a bold print (even colorful!) or in a different texture like teddy fur, colorful faux fur’s, and even try Mongolian faux fur for some real extra vibes..

I mean you might as well go for it and have fun right?

East West, Tote Style, & Textured Bags

From the east-west style to shmedium, and large tote style bags, all have been in popular demand since last year. East-west is one of my particular favorites because you get this sophisticated sleek look in a seemingly small and yet large space of a bag. Great for any fashion lover wanting a versatile bag for multiple occasions. This style can also really maximize your space of a bag without compromising on a smaller size.

Now for my fashionistas who need a large bag for those long haul days, extra duty work or school days, or are just needing to make sure you have everything you need (plus some!) totes are for you. I generally lean towards a  classic structured overall look but hobo styles and even fringe totes are going to continue being a preferred style overall for the fall and winter season.

Textured bags from leather, mohair, fringe, calf hair, and even medal embellishments are going to be holding on as a trend during the colder seasons too (and throughout the year). This is a really good option for anyone wanting to amp up their accessories this season. And these textured accessories always add a fun intrigue to your fall and winter staples!

Statement, Structured, & Textured Belts

Statement belts popularized by brands like Chloe’s F/W 2024-2025, and even throwing back to the hot demanded Loewe Obi Belt that was popular in 2021 (as styled on KarenBritChick). Another piece perfect for elevating any minimal chic look or even a nice finishing touch.

This can be anything from a word, symbol, corseted style, or artistic emblem that gives that Schiaparelli feel!

Consider this in addition if you want to just add a soft intrigue to your style options for sure.

Knit, Cashmere, Knee Length Socks

I might be one of the very few who was more than giddy to receive several warm socks for Christmas. I mean cozy, colorful, or textured design it’s just another cute way to exude your style voice.

Rather it is a knit style, cashmere blend, shearling or knee/thigh high length, any of these types of socks you can find a fabulous one to communicate who you are. I personally love me an argyle print, sparkly pizazz like these from & Other Stories, or even a cutesy hello kitty moment to satisfy all the style aesthetics I love.

Alright loves, there you go just some options and variety to spice up your accessories for the colder months! Cause let’s be honest, the accessories will always be the fabulous topping to any fit no matter the season.

Until next time,

Xo
